Captain Brook is an experienced mariner; he has been at sea all of his life and comes from a family of sailors and yachtsmen. He sailed the entire Caribbean, South America, Bahamas, and US eastern seaboard all before the age of 12 years old.
Brook is a master mariner having sailed over 200,000 nautical miles with a Master 3000 ton all oceans license. He takes pride in being a calm, cool headed, and honest seaman regardless of the situation. Brook is equally comfortable on motor or sail vessels and has strong engineering skills, a quick smile, and great work ethic.
Other notable accomplishments and skills are his appointment to the US Naval academy, Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture and international certifications in conservation and environmental science.
His passions are spending time with his son Jax, spearfishing, motorcycling, playing water polo, and any other
outdoor activity.
Kelly was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. She fled the big city life straight after high school and headed for Cape
Town, where she studied a Bachelor of Commerce Business degree in Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Communications.
After completion of her studies, Kelly traveled to West Palm Beach where she started her yachting career in search of an exciting gap year. She has been in the yachting industry for over 6 years now and has loved every minute of her well-extended 'gap year.'
Kelly is a self-taught graphic designer with a passion for all things style and fashion. If there is an opportunity to make, create or decorate, she will be there. Whether it’s hiking, running, reading, or baking, Kelly is up for an adventure and is always keen to learn something new.
Dani is our Christmas baby on board, born on the eve of the 25th of December in KZN, South Africa. She is an adrenaline junky who loves fashion, cooking, adventure and just having a good time in general.
When possible, Dani has always taken the adventurous route in life. After high school, she started studying a Bachelor of Education degree through a correspondence program, but at the same time, an adventure in India was calling. Her first trip overseas was to dance at the IPL cricket in India.
After her time spent in India, the travel bug had bitten, and she was always looking for a new travel journey and so she finally decided to pursue yachting, and here she is.
Lee grew up in the coastal city of Durban, South Africa, and from a young age she’s been considered a ‘Water Baby’. After living in the UK for 2 years in her early 20’s, Lee settled into her role as an Account Executive for an advertising agency where she thrived in the customer facing role for 12 years, before deciding to follow her dreams of travel in the hospitality industry. Her hobbies include camping, obstacle course racing, swimming, wakeboarding, and paddleboarding and she recently completed her open water diving course.
Joining, the yachting industry in 2021, Lee has been able to marry her love for people, travel, and the ocean into her perfect role as Stewardess where she is excited and committed to helping provide a truly unique travel experience for our guests.
Shannon is a qualified Hairdresser, nail technician, make-up artist, racialist, and spa masseuse. She has 14 years of experience in the trade and 7+ years experience as a housekeeper, service, and spa masseuse onboard motor yachts.
She is a friendly, kind and empathetic person with a bubbly personality. She takes great pride in all that she does, and does so with a smile on her face.
She enjoys working with people from all different cultures and strives to achieve the best results always.
Rachel comes from the beautiful beach and mountains of Cape Town, South Africa. She has been at sea her entire working life and is proud to have completed a circumnavigation and then some.
Rachel loves fulfilling her role as chief officer on board and is always looking to grow in this capacity. Additionally, she has been a dive
instructor for over 12 years and has taught in some of the most remote locations in the world.
Chris is from the UK. His childhood was spent moving around the globe with his parents, whilst they worked for the British Foreign &
Commonwealth Office. This offered him a diverse upbringing and ignited his hunger for travel and culture.
Chris is an outdoor education coach, kayaking coach and volunteer firefighter as well as a carpenter and rescue diver.
Working on a vast array of yachts over the last 6 years, he is very excited to be working on a newly, refitted vessel. Chris is currently studying for his officer’s license and looks forward to joining Lady B once again, soon.
Casey comes from a small town in South Africa, called Scottburgh, on South Africa's East coast. He grew up surrounded by family and friends who were and still are, watermen.
He went on to compete for South Africa in multiple world surfing games as well as the world qualifying series, for a number of years.
Previous to yachting, Casey worked for Survivor (USA) in the marine department in Fiji, as a helmsman for 4 years and had the privilege to meet Jeff Probst and an incredible camera team.
Casey loves spearfishing and exploring exotic locations around the globe. He has been on and around boats for as long as he can remember and has been in the yachting industry for 1 year. He is friendly, helpful, and ready to go at a moment's notice.
Malcolm was born in Zambia, a landlocked country located in Southern Africa. At the age of 6, his family moved to Durban South Africa, where his love for the water flourished.
He grew up with parents that were keen sailors, divers, and fishermen, and therefore Malcolm spent most of his time on the water.
After high school, he backpacked around the world which solidified his love for travel and adventure.
After running a business in Johannesburg for 10 years, he decided the ocean was calling his name again, so he sold up, and moved to Mozambique where he ran scuba diving schools.
Everything changed for Malcolm when he was offered a job where he had to relocate to Aruba. He ran a watersports company there for several years, before landing his first job on a motor yacht as a dec
Ali's heritage is both Mexican and Venezuelan, he grew up in the middle of salsa music, instruments, and the sea.
He studied Mechanical Engineering in the Merchant Marine Institute of Mexico and has spent the last 2 years working on commercial vessels and illegal fishing sabotage boats, before joining the yachting industry.
Engineering is his passion, but his hobbies include playing string instruments, such as guitar, bass, ukulele, and jarana. He has also recently started his journey into the world of photography.
