Robust aircraft-style locking access doors with retractable screens are placed at each side for accessing to and from the interior main deck dining and galley areas. The vessel’s freshwater fill is on the port deck trail just aft of the dining access door.

An aircraft style locking access door with retractable screen is placed starboard side for accessing onto the sky lounge level Portuguese Bridge from the interior of the sky lounge deck.

The lighting over the console is switchable between off, bright for tasks or red for night navigation. Beneath the helm is generous space for servicing the back side of the helm. Climate control comfort is provided by (3) chilled water air conditioning with reverse cycle heat control zones as well as heat from the diesel furnace system. The 24VDC / 12VDC power distribution panel is next to the helm and is backlit. 110VAC outlets provide on demand power.

The sole is cherry with a gloss finish and providing protection and warmth over the wood floor is the custom bound edge carpet.
