The world-acclaimed team at Vripack and the custom craftsman of Evadne Shipyard have partnered together again to build another masterpiece in their SUV line of Explorer Yachts – Rock XL. The 110ft “big sister” to the award-winning Rock 85 can be tailored to your preferences in terms of internal design and layout, outside deck spaces, and decor.
This transatlantic-capable yacht is built from steel and aluminum and was designed by Vripack, a world-renowned firm with over 60 years of expedition-yacht excellence. She will be the first of the new Rock XL line, following a series of 4 successful and award-winning builds from the collaboration of Evadne Yachts and Vripack.
Take advantage of her impressive 265GT and 22,000-liter fuel capacity which results in a 4,000nm range to unlock the hidden corners of the oceans, all with a draft of 2.3m. She is capable of carrying up to a 5.6m tender on her transom. Equipped with CAT C12.9’s her top speed is 16kts, with a cruise speed of 13kts.
Rock XL is equipped with Mastervolt Lithium-Ion batteries which makes her capable of running the AC, house load, and stabilizer system for 12 hours without starting the generators. This allows Rock XL to become completely silent overnight.
She boasts 5 generously-sized staterooms. Her on-deck master suite boasts a customizable layout with an optional gym and office. She also can be fitted with the iconic private owner’s balcony that is an exclusive feature to the Rock line.

Rock XL’s “little sister”, Rock 85, was sold on the second day of her world premiere at the 2019 Cannes Yachting Festival. She has already explored over 14,000nm under her own hull.
This bespoke long-range expedition yacht sits at the top of her class in all aspects, and will be ready for delivery in 2022. Rock XL is now awaiting her new owner’s personal finishing touches.
