Overmarine Group was founded in 1985 by Giuseppe Balducci, with Mangusta becoming its signature yacht brand. The group built its reputation around fast composite yachts and subsequently expanded into larger semi-displacement and displacement yachts in metal. Today Mangusta's portfolio includes the Maxi Open, GranSport and Oceano families, with production spread across multiple facilities in Tuscany.
