It is a place you want to spend time in and not worry about what to touch or where you are allowed to sit. As you walk forward you find a lovely dining table with seating for ten people. The day head is positioned on Portside on the way to the galley and crew mess which makes a nice change from being placed just aft of the Master Cabin where everyone can sneak a peak on the way to the toilet.
