The shipyard, what it builds and where.
Founded by Frans Heesen in 1978, Heesen began by building aluminium boats and evolved into a specialist Dutch superyacht builder known particularly for lightweight, high-performance aluminium yachts and steel displacement yachts. Its inland shipyard in Oss remains the company's home, with its location influencing the size of yachts it builds. Heesen works across custom, semi-custom and series projects, generally between 50 and 80 metres.
