The shipyard, what it builds and where.
Turquoise's roots extend back to the 1970s, when Proteksan began building some of Turkey's first steel and aluminium superyachts. The Turquoise brand was created through the 1997 combination of Proteksan and Turquoise. Today the shipyard operates an Istanbul outfitting facility and a Kocaeli construction yard, with capacity for very large steel and aluminium projects.
